In the 14th minute, Heino Edelsø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannich Tørresø in the 19th minute of play forced Nøkkentved FV's goalkeeper Aage Vrinders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Sahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Cæsius charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aage Vrinders showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Horsens booed when Nøkkentved FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Mainburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horsens's Tony Sahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute Tony Sahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aage Vrinders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Havenskjold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Havenskjold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Havenskjold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Grebell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Lavritz Bordum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horsens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nøkkentved FV the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Horsens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lavritz Bordum to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Svenning Kaywel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. August Grebell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tony Sahlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aage Vrinders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Horsens getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jannich Tørresø hit a great ball. Thorsten Birkved's late challenge caught a Nøkkentved FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thorsten Birkved helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nøkkentved FV booed when Horsens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorsten Birkved didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Svenning Kaywel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erhard Sebelien during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nøkkentved FV's Erhard Sebelien got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nøkkentved FV's goalkeeper Aage Vrinders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. August Grebell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Havenskjold in the 81st minute of the match. If Tony Sahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Horsens's zone, Lucas Havenskjold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Grebell came out of the goal and Lucas Havenskjold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Havenskjold succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. When Diego Cæsius was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Nøkkentved FV's Diego Cæsius got a free kick in the 98th minute. Aage Vrinders made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Tony Sahlberg sent off a good shot on target.
