Kevin Ringling charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Ringling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Kjærup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Ringling. In the 15th match minute, Haltrup AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustinus Kenfelt to maneuver through the defense. Sixten Risbjørn's late challenge caught a Haltrup AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixten Risbjørn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Haltrup AC booed when Kjærup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixten Risbjørn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kjærup SIK's Niklaes Slass got a free kick in the 20th minute. Andre Bonnevie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Øxby having to interfere. Claes Øxby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Detlev Hinz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ali Lerking made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustinus Kenfelt in the 27th minute of play. Nicklas Imer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicklas Imer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Øxby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Detlev Hinz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ariel Aggerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Lerking having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Haltrup AC's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Bonnevie came free, but Claes Øxby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kjærup SIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gotfred Thenninge was slow to take the kick. During this time Haltrup AC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Haltrup AC's Ernest Byrhard getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicklas Imer to make the kick off. If Detlev Hinz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Kjærup SIK booed when Haltrup AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustinus Kenfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Haltrup AC's Claes Øxby got control of the ball when Detlev Hinz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Detlev Hinz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Claes Øxby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haltrup AC's goalkeeper Claes Øxby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Detlev Hinz got free with Claes Øxby in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Detlev Hinz might have been able to make a better finish in the 100th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Øxby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Detlev Hinz ran back to his position shaking his head. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
