After a rather tough play, Kejlstrup FV's Harald Blåkildegård got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ture Humphries in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tycho Eggeling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milton Sletsø struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tycho Eggeling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Battrup SIK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Kronlykke in the 22nd minute of play forced Battrup SIK's goalkeeper Hannibal Wallensø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kejlstrup FV fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Kejlstrup FV's Laurits Paulander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35th match minute, Kejlstrup FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Kronlykke to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Milton Sletsø notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kejlstrup FV's Tycho Eggeling. Tycho Eggeling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tycho Eggeling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Humphries in the 43rd minute of play. When Kejlstrup FV's Harald Blåkildegård in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Battrup SIK's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ture Humphries made a kick off. Bernard Lensdal's late challenge caught a Battrup SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Lensdal helped the player get up and apologised. 53 minutes into the game, one of Kejlstrup FV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th match minute, Battrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Humphries to maneuver through the defense. Olle Dybsager's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannibal Wallensø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Kejlstrup FV's Einar Kronlykke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Einar Kronlykke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hannibal Wallensø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Storegaard charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Storegaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arne Storegaard hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tycho Eggeling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Humphries in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Ture Humphries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tycho Eggeling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes, Conrad Hespe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Battrup SIK and the Kejlstrup FV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kejlstrup FV booed when Battrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrad Hespe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milton Sletsø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tycho Eggeling having to interfere. After 98 minutes of play, Battrup SIK's Ture Humphries made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tycho Eggeling was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Kejlstrup FV players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Battrup SIK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
