Taarup's Kaj Tornslev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Taarup from getting a goal against them. Jim Vennig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuel Kongensholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paw Tillisch in the 14th minute of the match. Taarup's Kaj Tornslev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjeld Thrysøe in the 19th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Filip Parlø put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Taarup's Filip Parlø got a free kick in the 20th minute. Kaj Tornslev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkon Selmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Risløv hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Ken Bønnelykke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lystrup FC's Samuel Kongensholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Taarup's zone, Sigmund Hegelskov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaj Tornslev came out of the goal and Sigmund Hegelskov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Kongensholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Vennig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Lystrup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkon Selmar to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Håkon Selmar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Kongensholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paw Tillisch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Lystrup FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Lensvig. After 60 minutes of play, Lystrup FC's Elias Lensvig made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaj Tornslev was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Kjeld Thrysøe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Tornslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taarup's Kaj Tornslev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjeld Thrysøe in the 65th minute of play. Lystrup FC's Samuel Kongensholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Lystrup FC from getting a goal against them. Jim Vennig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Samuel Kongensholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Jim Vennig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taarup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Vennig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Lensvig in the 81st minute of play forced Taarup's goalkeeper Kaj Tornslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjeld Thrysøe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaj Tornslev having to interfere. In the 91st minute Kjeld Thrysøe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Tornslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lystrup FC's Samuel Kongensholm got control of the ball when Jim Vennig tried to sneak it across the goal line.
