With a little luck, Ullits SIK's Ewald Brunbjerg got control of the ball when Klaudius Bergholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Sønderby's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Thorhauge came free, but Aske Selsbye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aske Selsbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Krogsted in the 6th minute of play. If Cornelius Tjalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ewald Brunbjerg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Bøg in the 12th minute of play. Cornelius Tjalve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aske Selsbye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Al Krogsted had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aske Selsbye. Sønderby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Al Krogsted was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aske Selsbye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Tjalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Sønderby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Bus to maneuver through the defense. The Ullits SIK fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Ullits SIK's Cornelius Tjalve looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 35 minutes into the match, Ullits SIK's goalkeeper Ewald Brunbjerg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klaudius Bergholm. Roald Sjøgaard hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Al Krogsted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aske Selsbye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cornelius Tjalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ullits SIK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelius Tjalve to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Al Krogsted got free with Aske Selsbye in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornelius Tjalves short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Aske Selsbye to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Klaudius Bergholm put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ewald Brunbjerg. After 61 played minutes, Sønderby's Anker Strandager shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ewald Brunbjerg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sønderby reached it. Aske Selsbye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Falsig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelius Tjalves short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Aske Selsbye to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ewald Brunbjerg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Højlo in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, Sønderby's Ulrik Højlo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ewald Brunbjerg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aske Selsbye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelius Tjalve in the 88th minute. Ewald Brunbjerg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Højlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Sønderby booed when Ullits SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Thorhauge didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Tjalve in the 93rd minute of play forced Sønderby's goalkeeper Aske Selsbye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When %teams%'s Cornelius Tjalve was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-3 just inside the left pole, 94 minutes into the game. Aske Selsbye was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Ullits SIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
