The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Moseby FV getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Klas Kudahl hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Krogsgaarde's Eddy Krogenlund broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Reinhard Endersen succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. A collision led to Krogsgaarde getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Asker Varberg hit a great ball. Tonny Bærtelsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hasse Liblik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Tonny Bærtelsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasse Liblik having to interfere. Tonny Bærtelsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hasse Liblik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klas Kudahl during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Klas Kudahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasse Liblik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergei Aundorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Moseby FV defense, Asker Varberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hasse Liblik. The Moseby FV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hasse Liblik should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reinhard Endersen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tonny Bærtelsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasse Liblik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergei Aundorf in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Sergei Aundorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tonny Bærtelsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hasse Liblik having to make a save. Hasse Liblik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergei Aundorf in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, one of Krogsgaarde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Krogsgaarde's Thorbjørn Bjærge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ebbe Fonn in the 77th minute of play. Sergei Aundorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasse Liblik having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinhard Endersen in the 82nd minute of play forced Krogsgaarde's goalkeeper Thorbjørn Bjærge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danny Kongstrand's late challenge caught a Moseby FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Kongstrand helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Krogsgaarde getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Danny Kongstrand hit a great ball. Hasse Liblik came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Krogsgaarde's Sergei Aundorf. But to his dismay, Sergei Aundorf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Moseby FV's Jim Gripping got a free kick in the 94th minute. Gunnar Amling shot from long distance in the 95th minute, but Hasse Liblik was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Moseby FV succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Krogsgaarde had controlled the match.
