Floden af Januar's Bertram Nystrøm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folmar Baldus in the 14th minute of play. Richard Meisler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valby Vintage's Dan Bartkær proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Valby Vintage from getting a goal against them. Folmar Baldus struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bertram Nystrøm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valby Vintage. Dan Bartkær made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Richard Meisler sent off a good shot on target. Folmar Baldus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Askild Majer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Valby Vintage's goalkeeper Dan Bartkær had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Meisler. Folmar Baldus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertram Nystrøm having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Askild Majer to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Valby Vintage's goal looked a bit too open when Askild Majer came free, but Dan Bartkær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Floden af Januar booed when Valby Vintage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Berling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Valby Vintage's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Meisler came free, but Dan Bartkær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nick Franks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bertram Nystrøm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nick Franks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertram Nystrøm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Einer Temik came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bertram Nystrøm could save by the left post. Folmar Baldus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertram Nystrøm having to make a save. If Richard Meisler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Askild Majer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Bartkær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valby Vintage's Bertram Hallein got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Floden af Januar's goal looked a bit too open when Folmar Baldus came free, but Bertram Nystrøm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Folmar Baldus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valby Vintage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folmar Baldus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Richard Meisler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floden af Januar's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Meisler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Bartkær breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Valby Vintage's goal looked a bit too open when Askild Majer came free, but Dan Bartkær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
