Broballe SIK's Fritz Vijnanananda got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Broballe SIK's Günther Østermark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolaus Hjørtoft in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Broballe SIK got a freekick which was hit by Imran Bremme. If Ulf Olderman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolaus Hjørtoft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Broballe SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Thesling to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolaus Hjørtoft in the 31st minute of play forced Broballe SIK's goalkeeper Günther Østermark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Günther Østermark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Olderman in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Broballe SIK's zone, Nicolaus Hjørtoft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Günther Østermark came out of the goal and Nicolaus Hjørtoft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Ulf Olderman made a precise shot to the right of Günther Østermark. Broballe SIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Ulf Olderman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Broballe SIK's goalkeeper Günther Østermark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Vijnanananda was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Meltofte's Olfert Skovborg got a free kick in the 54th minute. The long shot by Leo Goldbech in the 56th minute really tested Valentin Høstmark's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Olderman in the 59th minute of play forced Broballe SIK's goalkeeper Günther Østermark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicolaus Hjørtoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Fritz Vijnanananda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Høstmark. That made the score 1-1 in the 73 minute of play. Valentin Høstmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Vijnanananda in the 79th minute of the match. Valentin Høstmark made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Eckhardt Markmann sent off a good shot on target. If Ulf Olderman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolaus Hjørtoft blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Günther Østermark having to make a save.
