The audience thought a goal was coming when Marthin Bøgens got free with Brian Aamodt in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hemming Klefeldt charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hemming Klefeldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Machai FC booed when Ærtbölle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hemming Klefeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thøger Lenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Ulsted in the 9th minute of play. Adam Neel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ærtbölle's Fredrik Hjelmsmark couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Machai FC. When Torleif Hulsbæk came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Machai FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torleif Hulsbæk couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Ærtbölle's Marthin Bøgens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Aamodt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 38th minute, one of Machai FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Machai FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 minutes, Rickard Oehlenschlager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ærtbölle and the Machai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ærtbölle's Rickard Oehlenschlager got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Machai FC's Villiam Ulsted sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thøger Lenz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Torleif Hulsbæk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marthin Bøgens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Aamodt having to interfere. Amund Dalhof hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ærtbölle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Oehlenschlager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brian Aamodt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marthin Bøgens in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Rickard Oehlenschlager left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ærtbölle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Machai FC's Brian Aamodt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Oehlenschlager in the 82nd minute of play. Villiam Ulsted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thøger Lenz having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Machai FC's Villiam Ulsted sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thøger Lenz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thøger Lenz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Villiam Ulsted's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Ærtbölle's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
