The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigurd Grønborg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, The Bandit Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Knarborg to maneuver through the defense. Carsten Dremstrup struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Joacim Lynfort didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Bandit Team. After a defensive mix-up in The Bandit Team's zone, Sam Rosenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigurd Grønborg came out of the goal and Sam Rosenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute Lucas Maiå shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurd Grønborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigurd Grønborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Maiå in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carsten Dremstrup made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Sögaarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Maiå to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match, Lucas Maiå tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sigurd Grønborg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute, Carsten Dremstrup made a precise shot to the right of Joacim Lynfort. Sögaarde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Lucas Maiå's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigurd Grønborg was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. David Knarborg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Sam Rosenberg came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sögaarde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Rosenberg couldn't finish the play. The Bandit Team's attentive Roland Hjabelund managed to snatch the ball when Edward Falsig made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Roland Hjabelund hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The Bandit Team's attentive Hassan Sildorf managed to snatch the ball when Ejvind Jul made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Absalon Gilvad hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Roland Hjabelund charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Hjabelund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sögaarde booed when The Bandit Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Hjabelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigurd Grønborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Maiå, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Sögaarde. Detlev Bøilerehauge stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sigurd Grønborg. 1-1. After a rather tough play, The Bandit Team's Roland Hjabelund got a free kick in the 99th minute. Sögaarde were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
