The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Thomas Valsgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aid United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fårup SIK the free kick. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Petter Engeborg sped through Aid United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rufus Marigo. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aid United's goalkeeper Rufus Marigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ludwig Hvistendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Marigo having to interfere. Daniel Søller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georg Kalsang's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Aid United's Rufus Marigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannick Luytkis in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Aid United's Rufus Marigo got control of the ball when Ludwig Hvistendal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Hannibal Stæt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Daniel Søller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Aid United's Georg Kalsang got a free kick in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jannick Luytkis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rufus Marigo. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georg Kalsang to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Aid United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jes Gundrup to maneuver through the defense. Ludwig Hvistendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Marigo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Kalsang in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Søller saved Fårup SIK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Engeborg in the 63rd minute of play forced Aid United's goalkeeper Rufus Marigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Petter Engeborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rufus Marigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Engeborg in the 67th minute of the match. When Thomas Valsgren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After 72 played minutes Aid United got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Valsgren. 73 minutes into the match, Aid United's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Hvistendal came free, but Rufus Marigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannibal Stæt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Søller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Petter Engeborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rufus Marigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fårup SIK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
