The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute, Thomas Valsgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Alfred Grolf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Kalsang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sigvald Aalskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Grolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Marigo having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Hannibal Stæt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aid United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannibal Stæt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Alfred Mune mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rousthøje FC and the Aid United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Alfred Mune hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannibal Stæt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sigvald Aalskov made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Aid United's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Grolf came free, but Rufus Marigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rufus Marigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ebbe Molteng in the 24th minute of the match. If Ebbe Molteng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ebbe Molteng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rousthøje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ebbe Molteng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rufus Marigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georg Kalsang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sigvald Aalskov came out and tried to block the shot, but Georg Kalsang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Alfred Grolf made a precise shot to the right of Rufus Marigo. Aid United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Thomas Valsgren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. After 42 played minutes Aid United got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Valsgren. After a defensive mix-up in Rousthøje FC's zone, Georg Kalsang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvald Aalskov came out of the goal and Georg Kalsang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jørgen Jonsborg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Aid United's Mathies Tornstad shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sigvald Aalskov but with some difficulty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hannibal Stæt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Alfred Grolf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rousthøje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Grolf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rufus Marigo. Alfred Grolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Marigo having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Aid United got a freekick which was hit by Georg Kalsang. Rousthøje FC played a much better game than Aid United and deserved their victory. The Aid United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
