Ricard Harbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sophus Tylvad's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 24 played minutes Saunte got a freekick which was hit by Morten Werenskiold. After a rather tough play, Badstrup's Asfred Ørhede got a free kick in the 31st minute. Piet Elverkilde charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piet Elverkilde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard, long distance shot from Tristan Nordenlund flew over the goal. Ricard Harbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Knud Vesterø in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Vanghøj to make the kick off. Detlef Breiø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Vanghøj, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Badstrup's Sophus Tylvad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricard Harbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Sophus Tylvad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ingvar Øllgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Saunte's Robin Vanghøj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Detlef Breiø narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Knud Vesterø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ricard Harbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Robin Vanghøj took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Detlef Breiø to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Badstrup's zone, Robin Vanghøj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Detlef Breiø came out of the goal and Robin Vanghøj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robin Vanghøj might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Detlef Breiø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Vanghøj ran back to his position shaking his head. Tristan Nordenlund hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Robin Vanghøj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Saunte walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
