One of Østervang SIK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nees SIK:s goal. The referee gave Nees SIK a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by William Witton, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Østervang SIK's Markus Kotvig. 1-1. Hagbart Bjørnmose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hagbart Karstoft made a huge save. If Manfred Nelstrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hagbart Bjørnmose came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Østervang SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hagbart Bjørnmose couldn't finish the play. Markus Kotvig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Nelstrøm, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Markus Kotvig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Onbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Emmanuel Wagtmann made the kick off in the second half. Manfred Nelstrøm struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Markus Kotvig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nees SIK. If Donald Onbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Manfred Nelstrøm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Donald Onbeck notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Østervang SIK's Markus Kotvig. Markus Kotvig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hagbart Bjørnmose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hagbart Karstoft having to interfere. Emmanuel Wagtmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hagbart Karstoft having to interfere. Hagbart Bjørnmose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Manfred Nelstrøm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Markus Kotvig came out and tried to block the shot, but Manfred Nelstrøm slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 84th minute. Donald Onbeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Kotvig having to interfere. Kim Esphavn's late challenge caught a Nees SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kim Esphavn helped the player get up and apologised. Kim Esphavn hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Manfred Nelstrøm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Kotvig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Hagbart Bjørnmose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Østervang SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hagbart Bjørnmose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hagbart Karstoft breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hagbart Bjørnmose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nees SIK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
