Gregor Thøjring started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gregor Thøjring's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Lybek was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute Wolfgang Hedemand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauritz Almsted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregor Thøjring in the 17th minute of play forced Mariekirke's goalkeeper Gabriel Lybek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Trunderup's goalkeeper Lauritz Almsted had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lavrits Eiring. Trunderup's Zacharias Segner got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicklas Gryhøj charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicklas Gryhøj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mariekirke's Nicklas Gryhøj got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gabriel Lybek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Thøjring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Lybek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Thøjring, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Trunderup's Lauritz Almsted proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Trunderup from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavrits Eiring in the 36th minute of play forced Trunderup's goalkeeper Lauritz Almsted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregor Thøjring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Lybek having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Preben Stjerneberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wolfgang Hedemand made a kick off. When Mariekirke's Wolfgang Hedemand in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Listved got free with Gabriel Lybek in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Lybek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aleksander Listved showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 62 minute of play. Trunderup's Lauritz Almsted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Hedemand in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mariekirke's Niki Mylov got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Lauritz Almsted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Hedemand in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Hedemand in the 84th minute of play forced Trunderup's goalkeeper Lauritz Almsted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Mariekirke's Niki Mylov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauritz Almsted was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Mariekirke getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Preben Stjerneberg hit a great ball.
