A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Mariekirke's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Wagtmann came free, but Gabriel Lybek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niki Mylov kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Østervang SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Hedemand came free, but Markus Kotvig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mariekirke booed when Østervang SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Agerschou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hagbart Bjørnmose took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Lybek. If Emmanuel Wagtmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Østervang SIK's Markus Kotvig got control of the ball when Mattias Lindal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Mariekirke getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Preben Stjerneberg hit a great ball. Gabriel Lybek came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Østervang SIK's Emmanuel Wagtmann. But to his dismay, Emmanuel Wagtmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 43 minutes of play, Mariekirke's Wolfgang Hedemand made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Kotvig was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the match, Østervang SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Hedemand came free, but Markus Kotvig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanuel Wagtmann to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hagbart Bjørnmose made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Lybek. Mariekirke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Mariekirke's Wolfgang Hedemand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Kotvig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Østervang SIK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mariekirke:s goal. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Mariekirke. Nicklas Gryhøj stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Markus Kotvig. 2-3. Markus Kotvig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Hedemand in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Lindal in the 72nd minute of play forced Østervang SIK's goalkeeper Markus Kotvig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wolfgang Hedemand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
