An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhardt Kreutz in the 9th minute of play forced Smirnoff FC's goalkeeper Arvid Wincelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Wiah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Randers United's Jozef Sebelin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Randers United from getting a goal against them. Jozef Sebelin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ingolf Gross sent off a good shot on target. Martin Wiah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jozef Sebelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Wiah in the 29th minute of play. If Ingolf Gross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantin Syme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erhardt Kreutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arvid Wincelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Smirnoff FC's zone, Konstantin Syme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvid Wincelles came out of the goal and Konstantin Syme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Aslak Klevang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smirnoff FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Randers United the free kick. Aslak Klevang kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Wiah made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Martin Wiah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smirnoff FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Wiah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Randers United got a freekick which was hit by Albert Hesselbo. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Randers United's goalkeeper Jozef Sebelin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jozef Sebelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingolf Gross, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jozef Sebelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Wiah in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Heinrich Kemp sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Randers United's Jozef Sebelin didn't even have to move. Konstantin Syme's late challenge caught a Smirnoff FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantin Syme helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Randers United's Konstantin Syme got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Ingolf Gross had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jozef Sebelin. Randers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingolf Gross was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jozef Sebelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Wiah, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Smirnoff FC's Arvid Wincelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erhardt Kreutz in the 88th minute of play. When Konstantin Syme came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Randers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantin Syme couldn't finish the play. Jozef Sebelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Wiah, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
