Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erhardt Arel started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gynther Sønderaa during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Højby Fc's Gynther Sønderaa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ole Bøgens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erhardt Arel's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Erhardt Arel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Steen Lyfter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Højby Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc ivana the free kick. A collision led to Højby Fc getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Steen Lyfter hit a great ball. Ole Bøgens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erhardt Arel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bøje Greenaae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ole Bøgens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. fc ivana's Bøje Greenaae got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Erhard Botorp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Højby Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erhard Botorp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to fc ivana getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Egon Halvgaard hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Egil Ternov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and fc ivana's Mikkel Vormark didn't even have to move. Erhard Botorp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikkel Vormark having to interfere. Ole Bøgens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bøje Greenaae in the 30th minute of play. Højby Fc's Ole Bøgens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bøje Greenaae in the 35th minute of play. If Erhardt Arel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erhardt Arel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Højby Fc fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Højby Fc's Erhard Botorp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peiter Thibel to strike the kick off in the second half. Erhardt Arel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Ole Bøgens managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when fc ivana's Egon Halvgaard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Egil Ternov kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhardt Arel in the 60th minute of play forced Højby Fc's goalkeeper Ole Bøgens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erhardt Arel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ole Bøgens 64 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Højby Fc got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Rildsø. fc ivana's Poul Grunfeld shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ole Bøgens but with some difficulty. Højby Fc's Ole Bøgens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erhardt Arel in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Erhardt Arel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole Bøgens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronald Gotil's late challenge caught a Højby Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronald Gotil helped the player get up and apologised. Ronald Gotil kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Højby Fc booed when fc ivana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Møgelmose didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Egil Ternov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikkel Vormark skillfully saved the ball. Bøje Greenaae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Bøgens having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Erhardt Arel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bøje Greenaae scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ole Bøgens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Højby Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Erhardt Arel came free, but Ole Bøgens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched fc ivana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
