The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Tristan Salung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyrup SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tristan Salung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Ørstam in the 6th minute of play forced Nyrup SIK's goalkeeper Eske Baarstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lynge Gotholst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Eske Baarstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Nyrup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Valther Kjærup. Jonny Ørstam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eske Baarstrand having to interfere. Eske Baarstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Ørstam in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Ørstam in the 23rd minute of play forced Nyrup SIK's goalkeeper Eske Baarstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nyrup SIK's Tristan Salung in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lynge Gotholst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eske Baarstrand having to make a save. The supporters of Skælskør B&I booed when Nyrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Rasbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonny Ørstam struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eske Baarstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skælskør B&I. Jari Moisen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nyrup SIK. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the game, Imran Herreholm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jari Moisen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rainar Jannerup hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jari Moisen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Salung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Ørstam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Nyrup SIK's Tristan Salung sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jari Moisen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augustin Stauner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eske Baarstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jari Moisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Salung in the 79th minute of the match. Imran Herreholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jari Moisen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Rainar Jannerup was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 82 played minutes Skælskør B&I got a freekick which was hit by Rainar Jannerup. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boje Castley during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Imran Herreholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jari Moisen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Skælskør B&I:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nyrup SIK:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nyrup SIK had won after a very even match.
