Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tristan Salung in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mik Vesteraa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klemens Rhodstrand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eske Baarstrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Tristan Salung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mik Vesteraa having to interfere. Eske Baarstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steff Kalvert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Klemens Rhodstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tristan Salung came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Nyrup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tristan Salung couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Nyrup SIK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Valther Kjærup hit a great ball. Klemens Rhodstrand struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Eske Baarstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUNTI. Zakarias Hallengreen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eske Baarstrand. Nyrup SIK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th minute Imran Herreholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mik Vesteraa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tristan Salung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Imran Herreholm in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mik Vesteraa saved CUNTI from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imran Herreholm in the 40th minute of play forced CUNTI's goalkeeper Mik Vesteraa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tristan Salung stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eske Baarstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steff Kalvert, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Steff Kalvert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Eske Baarstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tristan Salung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mik Vesteraa having to interfere. Imran Herreholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mik Vesteraa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nyrup SIK's zone, Steff Kalvert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eske Baarstrand came out of the goal and Steff Kalvert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Nyrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Steff Kalvert came free, but Eske Baarstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steff Kalvert took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eske Baarstrand. Eske Baarstrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 85th minute Tristan Salung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mik Vesteraa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, CUNTI's Klemens Rhodstrand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eske Baarstrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Imran Herreholm did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Mik Vesteraa 96 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
