Ruddi Gording showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilbert Hasselgaard in the 5th minute of the match. Stubbe's Hilbert Hasselgaard got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stubbe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerner Kjærsbo in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gerner Kjærsbo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruddi Gording quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stubbe's goalkeeper Dirk Jenstrup, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jørn Spey fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stubbe's protests and gave Jørn Spey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Jørn Spey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Stubbe booed when Tranholm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mads Freimer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stubbe's goalkeeper Dirk Jenstrup, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Hilbert Hasselgaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruddi Gording stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilbert Hasselgaard's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilbert Hasselgaard in the 36th minute of play forced Tranholm FC's goalkeeper Ruddi Gording to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Carsten Nelving got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Jendrup might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dirk Jenstrup. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Jendrup ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruddi Gording made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilbert Hasselgaard in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mads Freimer was the one to do the kick off. Dirk Jenstrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mads Freimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute Hilbert Hasselgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruddi Gording saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Døssing struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dirk Jenstrup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tranholm FC. Rico Klokhøj took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dirk Jenstrup. Stubbe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jørn Spey hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Tranholm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mads Freimer to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes of play, Stubbe's Carsten Nelving made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruddi Gording was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Stubbe booed when Tranholm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Døssing didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Stubbe's Gerner Kjærsbo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Tony Jendrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Jenstrup stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mads Freimer's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tony Jendrup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tranholm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Jendrup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Jenstrup breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carsten Nelving received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ruddi Gording tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilbert Hasselgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilbert Hasselgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruddi Gording having to interfere. Ruddi Gording made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carsten Nelving in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carsten Nelving got free with Ruddi Gording in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Tranholm FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilbert Hasselgaard came free, but Ruddi Gording reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tranholm FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stubbe's performance. The match ended with a win for Stubbe.
