Teddi Træholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jess Ørkilde in the 24th minute of play. Filip Duvang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. When Filip Duvang came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Højbjerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Duvang couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Jess Ørkilde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddi Træholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skovstrup SIK's zone, Filip Duvang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teddi Træholm came out of the goal and Filip Duvang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Højbjerg's goal looked a bit too open when Terkel Wichfeld came free, but Jess Halbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teddi Træholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Duvang in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Højbjerg booed when Skovstrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asmus Kænis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terkel Wichfeld to strike the kick off in the second half. Teddi Træholm made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Filip Duvang sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the match, Skovstrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Jess Ørkilde came free, but Teddi Træholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Kaare Himmelstrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teddi Træholm acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bertrand Tvedsborg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jess Ørkilde in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teddi Træholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jess Ørkilde struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Teddi Træholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Højbjerg. A collision led to Skovstrup SIK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Asmus Kænis hit a great ball. Viktor Dehli struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Højbjerg's Edward Hedenlund got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes, Skovstrup SIK's Kaare Himmelstrup shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jess Halbert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skovstrup SIK reached it. After 75 minutes of play, Højbjerg's Jess Ørkilde made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teddi Træholm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viktor Dehli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Højbjerg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
