The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jess Halbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvart Avnborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Højbjerg's Filip Duvang got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Duvangs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Tejs Vidriksen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 18 minutes, Frode Bonnie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tåbel FV and the Højbjerg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Tåbel FV got a freekick which was hit by Frode Bonnie. Filip Duvang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Tejs Vidriksen made a huge save. Tejs Vidriksen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Ørkilde in the 21st minute of the match. Jess Halbert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sigvart Avnborg's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Jess Ørkilde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tejs Vidriksen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tåbel FV's Ronnie Løvlund got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Filip Duvang came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Højbjerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Duvang couldn't finish the play. Frode Bonnie was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jess Ørkilde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Højbjerg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bertrand Tvedsborg in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jess Ørkilde in the 57th minute of play forced Tåbel FV's goalkeeper Tejs Vidriksen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Duvang in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tejs Vidriksen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jess Ørkilde scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tejs Vidriksen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filip Duvang struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Tejs Vidriksen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Højbjerg. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Jess Ørkilde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Højbjerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Jess Ørkilde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tejs Vidriksen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Hedenlund in the 76th minute of play forced Tåbel FV's goalkeeper Tejs Vidriksen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jess Ørkilde might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tejs Vidriksen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jess Ørkilde ran back to his position shaking his head. Tejs Vidriksen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Duvang in the 85th minute of play. The Tåbel FV players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Højbjerg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
