After a defensive mix-up in Riserup's zone, Vagner Faldal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimi Valdorff came out of the goal and Vagner Faldal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helmuth Løvtorp made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Frank Røhl sent off a good shot on target. When Eskil Kirkeskov fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brøndum Boldklub's protests and gave Eskil Kirkeskov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Brøndum Boldklub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Kirkeskov to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Walentin Fagertun notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Riserup's Jimi Valdorff. Jimi Valdorff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walentin Fagertun made a kick off. In the 57th minute Walentin Fagertun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimi Valdorff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Riserup's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vagner Faldal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 1-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when Klas Eltzholtz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Eltzholtz in the 80th minute of play forced Brøndum Boldklub's goalkeeper Helmuth Løvtorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Brøndum Boldklub booed when Riserup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricard Melbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernhardt Blaberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jimi Valdorff made a huge save. Walentin Fagertun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jimi Valdorff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vagner Faldal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 92nd playminute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brøndum Boldklub walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
