Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristian Kieldsen got the match started through his kick off. When Stephen Burdorf came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Vatican Knights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephen Burdorf couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Brandbjærg AC's Nigel Reichardt got a free kick in the 9th minute. Silas Jaskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uwe Ellebrønd in the 11th minute of the match. If Pedro Sekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Uwe Ellebrønd, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Silas Jaskov was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Pedro Sekov had several of the Vatican Knights's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Silas Jaskov as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 22nd minute, Uwe Ellebrønd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Brandbjærg AC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Burdorf came free, but Holger Rosenløv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Stephen Burdorf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vatican Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Burdorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Rosenløv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stephen Burdorf scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Rosenløv, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Uwe Ellebrønd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Jaskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Kieldsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uwe Ellebrønd made a kick off. If Uwe Ellebrønd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Uwe Ellebrønd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vatican Knights's Silas Jaskov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silas Jaskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uwe Ellebrønd in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brandbjærg AC's Bjørn Harsøe got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute of the match Anders Junchershøj shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Holger Rosenløv showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Emil Elrum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Brandbjærg AC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Kieldsen came free, but Holger Rosenløv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match Vatican Knights got a corner. Brandbjærg AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flemming Bergendorf ran over to the corner to take the kick. Flemming Bergendorf made a great header on Vatican Knights's corner, it was just that Brandbjærg AC's Holger Rosenløv managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Sekov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silas Jaskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe Ellebrønd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfred Tost's late challenge caught a Vatican Knights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilfred Tost helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brandbjærg AC's Wilfred Tost got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 99 minutes Brandbjærg AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flemming Bergendorf who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mikkel Schlie heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Vatican Knights supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vatican Knights would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
