The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nigel Reichardt during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nigel Reichardt hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. If Uwe Ellebrønd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tage Hellstrom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Sekov in the 11th minute. 17 minutes in the game, Uwe Ellebrønd fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tage Hellstrom having to interfere. Tørringe FV's Tage Hellstrom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Ellebrønd in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Julius Lyslund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandbjærg AC and the Tørringe FV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brandbjærg AC! The referee gave Tørringe FV a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronnie Stuhr, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brandbjærg AC's Holger Rosenløv. 0-1. In the 41st minute, Louis Bredlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Rosenløv was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gerhard Tinsfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Rosenløv having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tørringe FV's Tage Hellstrom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Sekov in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Brandbjærg AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svenne Knokgaard to maneuver through the defense. If Johan Dener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brandbjærg AC's goalkeeper Holger Rosenløv, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Holger Rosenløv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Dener in the 70th minute of play. If Pedro Sekov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandbjærg AC's Uwe Ellebrønd got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tage Hellstrom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjørn Harsøe, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gerhard Tinsfeldts short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Holger Rosenløv to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute Pedro Sekov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tage Hellstrom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerhard Tinsfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Holger Rosenløv made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tørringe FV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
