Rainar Leidecker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathæus Vincelet having to interfere. With a little luck, Volling's Mathæus Vincelet got control of the ball when Rainar Leidecker tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes, Jørgen Feilberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drammelstrup and the Volling players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lavrits Ledoseray sped through Volling's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathæus Vincelet.

In the 69th minute, Thorfinn Ebild got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Sigvald Staven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volling's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvald Staven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svend Persson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rainar Leidecker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathæus Vincelet having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Volling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinhardt Krogby to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Rainar Leidecker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drammelstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rainar Leidecker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Drammelstrup booed when Volling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhardt Krogby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Volling's Thorfinn Ebild ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Svend Persson. Svend Persson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Volling's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
