Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Volling's Sigvald Staven started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reinhardt Krogby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Povl Conqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Volling getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nigel Dyrslund hit a great ball. Dario Lydicksen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mathæus Vincelet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nigel Dyrslund kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Diekelmann in the 22nd minute of play forced Volling's goalkeeper Mathæus Vincelet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kris Diekelmann came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Egernsund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kris Diekelmann couldn't finish the play. Dario Lydicksen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathæus Vincelet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvald Staven in the 32nd minute of play forced Egernsund's goalkeeper Povl Conqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Egernsund's Dario Lydicksen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathæus Vincelet was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dario Lydicksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balthasar Granlien kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Sigvald Staven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Povl Conqvist having to interfere. Sigvald Staven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Povl Conqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Amdi Harsig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Egernsund were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Kris Diekelmann made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorfinn Ebild in the 60th minute of play forced Egernsund's goalkeeper Povl Conqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Egernsund booed when Volling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Dyrslund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Kris Diekelmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathæus Vincelet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Egernsund's zone, Thorfinn Ebild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Povl Conqvist came out of the goal and Thorfinn Ebild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Povl Conqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvald Staven, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sigvald Staven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Povl Conqvist having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Egernsund got a freekick which was hit by Sander Nøbbe. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Thorfinn Ebild managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volling's supporters rose to their feet, but Thorfinn Ebild was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Povl Conqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egernsund's Povl Conqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorfinn Ebild in the 75th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Volling's corner Jokum Gardersøe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Povl Conqvist quite easily take care of the ball. Povl Conqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigvald Staven went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Egernsund's zone, Thorfinn Ebild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Povl Conqvist came out of the goal and Thorfinn Ebild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Bindner charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Bindner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Egernsund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Bindner to maneuver through the defense. Thorfinn Ebild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Povl Conqvist having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
