The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Svenne Bredsdorff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Frisov having to interfere. Stenskrog SIK's Adam Frisov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svenne Bredsdorff in the 11th minute of play. Aksel Sensø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Frisov having to interfere. Bjarne Davolio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Haunstoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bjarne Davolio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Haunstoft in the 23rd minute of play. Herman Fredsbøl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bjarne Davolio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Dick Haunstoft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stenskrog SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kjaller the free kick. After 31 played minutes Stenskrog SIK got a freekick which was hit by Dick Haunstoft. Adam Frisov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aksel Sensø's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Dick Haunstoft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bjarne Davolio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bjarne Davolio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Haunstoft, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dick Haunstoft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Dick Haunstoft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stenskrog SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Haunstoft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bjarne Davolio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aksel Sensø was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Stenskrog SIK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Clas Seierø hit a great ball. Adam Frisov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aksel Sensø, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Bjarne Davolio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Haunstoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes of play, Kjaller's Asgar Dreil made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Frisov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stenskrog SIK's Herman Fredsbøl got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adam Frisov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aksel Sensø, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Karlo Mendis had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Erhard Warrern charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erhard Warrern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Stenskrog SIK got a freekick which was hit by Erhard Warrern. In the 82nd minute Dick Haunstoft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjarne Davolio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Asgar Dreil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bjarne Davolio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dick Haunstoft showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 89 minute of play. If Asgar Dreil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Frisov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asgar Dreil, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
