Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gorm Jacobæus made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Gorm Jacobæus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torsten Nordlundes short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Siegmund Finnedal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 9 played minutes Nordenskov got a freekick which was hit by Gorm Jacobæus. Edslev's Bertrand Ardest got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Edslev got a freekick which was hit by Helge Leandex. Charlie Meisner's late challenge caught a Edslev's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Meisner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Edslev booed when Nordenskov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Meisner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Charlie Meisner came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Nordenskov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Meisner couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Gorm Jacobæus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siegmund Finnedal was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Sigvard Røjel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the match Frederik Blentoft sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siegmund Finnedal skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute, Sigvard Røjel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siegmund Finnedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorm Jacobæus in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertrand Ardest stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sigvard Røjel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Therkel Drabitzius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Sigvard Røjel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edslev's Janus Rosbøl got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edslev fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Therkel Drabitzius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertrand Ardest, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute Torsten Nordlunde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Finnedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nordenskov's zone, Bertrand Ardest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Therkel Drabitzius came out of the goal and Bertrand Ardest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Therkel Drabitzius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertrand Ardest in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Palin during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Therkel Drabitzius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigvard Røjel in the 87th minute. Therkel Drabitzius made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Sigvard Røjel sent off a good shot on target. Sigvard Røjel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Torsten Nordlunde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siegmund Finnedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorm Jacobæus in the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nordenskov had won after a very even match.
