Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bertrand Ardest kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Laurits Jonigkeit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siegmund Finnedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joacim Ankerkilde during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Edslev getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Joacim Ankerkilde hit a great ball. Bertrand Ardest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ronni Lødsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bertrand Ardest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute of the match Ruddi Krumbak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siegmund Finnedal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Janus Rosbøl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edslev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holstebro Boldklub the free kick. The supporters of Holstebro Boldklub booed when Edslev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janus Rosbøl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigvard Røjel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ronni Lødsen made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Holstebro Boldklub's zone, Sigvard Røjel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronni Lødsen came out of the goal and Sigvard Røjel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edslev were furious when Jarl Birlev was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 37th minute, one of Edslev:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edslev. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Holstebro Boldklub. Valentin Blasius stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Siegmund Finnedal. 0-1. Bertrand Ardest recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Edslev's Ronni Lødsen threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bertrand Ardest, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 45th minute, one of Edslev:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edslev. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Holstebro Boldklub. Valentin Blasius stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Siegmund Finnedal. 0-2. After the first half Holstebro Boldklub were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Holstebro Boldklub's Ronni Lødsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertrand Ardest in the 55th minute of play. Therkel Højsbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertrand Ardest in the 62nd minute of play forced Holstebro Boldklub's goalkeeper Ronni Lødsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ernst Holdrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ronni Lødsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Holdrup in the 72nd minute of the match. The Edslev fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Edslev's Janus Rosbøl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bertrand Ardest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ronni Lødsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertrand Ardest in the 85th minute of play forced Holstebro Boldklub's goalkeeper Ronni Lødsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronni Lødsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janus Rosbøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Edslev's Bertrand Ardest in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holstebro Boldklub's goalie prevented a goal. Bertrand Ardest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Siegmund Finnedal was a little too slow when Therkel Højsbo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Holstebro Boldklub had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
