The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Klampenborg getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. A hard shot 13 in the game by Tony Dalro from a close distance when the talented Simon Kæselev managed to make a qualified save. Klampenborg's players were relieved. After 16 played minutes Klampenborg got a freekick which was hit by Kaspar Hollister. When Roskilde Saints's Nicolai Tangø in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Klampenborg's goalie prevented a goal. Nicolai Tangø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tony Dalro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roskilde Saints's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Dalro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Kæselev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Frode Hvolbæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Hannibal Brunbech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hannibal Brunbech to strike the kick off in the second half. When Lennart Holmkær came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Roskilde Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Holmkær couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Dalro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Kæselev saved Klampenborg from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Tomas Stormø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Nicolai Tangø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roskilde Saints's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolai Tangø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Tony Dalro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
