Andre Lensvold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Sjolte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicholas Sjolte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Andre Lensvold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunner Wiklund in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miki Braarup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Salling getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Villiam Smidt hit a great ball. Karlo Hjordsvar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Miki Braarup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karlo Hjordsvar in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miki Braarup saved Tofte FC from getting behind. Frank Samson's late challenge caught a Tofte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Samson helped the player get up and apologised. Gunner Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günther Savnø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andre Lensvold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Karlo Hjordsvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunner Wiklund was the one to do the kick off. Andre Lensvold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günther Savnø in the 54th minute of the match. Günther Savnø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Günther Savnø came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tofte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Günther Savnø couldn't finish the play. Tejs Renstrup hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Andre Lensvold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicholas Sjolte's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Gunner Wiklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunner Wiklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miki Braarup didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karlo Hjordsvar went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Miki Braarup stood somewhat misplaced when Gunner Wiklund came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Salling's Andre Lensvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günther Savnø in the 90th minute of play. Miki Braarup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunner Wiklund in the 91st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Henning Dalbro put in a rough tackle. In the 94th minute, one of Tofte FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tofte FC. The supporters of Salling booed when Tofte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Hejde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Salling eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
