Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Salling's Gunner Wiklund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Salling's Andre Lensvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten Jensin in the 3rd minute of play. Marko Tallov hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Samson during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunner Wiklund in the 8th minute of play forced Gjesing FC's goalkeeper Kurd Elhart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Thor Matner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andre Lensvold came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Gjesing FC's Thor Matner. But to his dismay, Thor Matner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gunner Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kurd Elhart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Salling's Gunner Wiklund in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gjesing FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kurd Elhart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunner Wiklund's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Gjesing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karlo Hjordsvar came free, but Kurd Elhart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carsten Jensin to strike the kick off in the second half. Kurd Elhart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunner Wiklund in the 52nd minute. Thor Matner struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Andre Lensvold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gjesing FC. The audience was convinced that Gunner Wiklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurd Elhart was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the game, Salling's Karlo Hjordsvar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurd Elhart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gunner Wiklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurd Elhart having to interfere. Andre Bry hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gunner Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karlo Hjordsvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gunner Wiklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlo Hjordsvar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurd Elhart having to interfere.
