Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paul Hindgart made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Ivan Oxenheim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Visti Birksdal. Skaarup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Oxenheim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Frits Hesselø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Hindgart in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Oxenheim in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Visti Birksdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sepp Skjellerup in the 13th minute of play forced Fåreby's goalkeeper Frits Hesselø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skaarup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fåreby the free kick. The supporters of Fåreby booed when Skaarup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thøger Gilsteinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Oxenheim in the 20th minute of play forced Skaarup's goalkeeper Visti Birksdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Oxenheim took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Visti Birksdal. Visti Birksdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Fåreby's goal looked a bit too open when Thøger Gilsteinsson came free, but Frits Hesselø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Visti Birksdal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Oxenheim to strike the kick off in the second half. Frits Hesselø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kris Reider in the 52nd minute. Visti Birksdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Uhlmann in the 53rd minute of play. Frits Hesselø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Hindgart, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Paul Hindgart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frits Hesselø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Sepp Skjellerup received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frits Hesselø came out and tried to block the shot, but Sepp Skjellerup slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the game, Fåreby's Ivan Oxenheim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Visti Birksdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 81stth minute of the game Sepp Hengst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skaarup's Visti Birksdal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sepp Hengst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Visti Birksdal having to make a save. Ivan Oxenheim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Skaarup's Visti Birksdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sepp Hengst in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Skaarup's zone, Sepp Hengst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Visti Birksdal came out of the goal and Sepp Hengst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fåreby had won after a very even match.
