The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Krestian Vendborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torleif Børger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krestian Vendborg in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rejnstrup's goalkeeper Jakob Jegindfeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, FCBillund The Pride of DK's goal looked a bit too open when Krestian Vendborg came free, but Torleif Børger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rejnstrup booed when FCBillund The Pride of DK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Kyndbøl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Imran Sastakauskas struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Torleif Børger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rejnstrup. Torleif Børger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krestian Vendborg in the 32nd minute of play. Taus Halck hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Krestian Vendborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Torleif Børger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Nicolas Ankerskov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, FCBillund The Pride of DK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taus Halck to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Walentin Reek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torleif Børger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berndt Thorkilgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Olof Patuel came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Rejnstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Patuel couldn't finish the play. Ricky Hedesø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torleif Børger having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Olof Patuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torleif Børger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Taus Halck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rejnstrup's Imran Sastakauskas got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricky Hedesø to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricky Hedesø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Torleif Børger made a huge save. If Sigfrid Berrhili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Imran Sastakauskas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FCBillund The Pride of DK's Torleif Børger. Torleif Børger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricky Hedesø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricky Hedesø scored 0-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torleif Børger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torleif Børger was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dan Maruni. In the 85th minute, Hasan Arsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Rejnstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Bjarke Copmann came free, but Jakob Jegindfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Ankerskov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Rejnstrup left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FCBillund The Pride of DK.
