The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Tjørnehoved's Niclas Stensvang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volmer Stoere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Vagnar Selknæs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tjørnehoved and the Badstrup FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Tjørnehoved:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Badstrup FC:s goal. Sigismund Thurup hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Niclas Stensvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Badstrup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Stensvang came free, but Volmer Stoere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nis Saustrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sigfried Eggersfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoffer Fjallheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfried Eggersfelt having to interfere. Nis Saustrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Kolpen hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Volmer Stoere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Lousdal in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cristoffer Fjallheim made the kick off in the second half. If Nis Saustrup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoffer Fjallheim in the 56th minute of play forced Tjørnehoved's goalkeeper Sigfried Eggersfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Cristoffer Fjallheim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Badstrup FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristoffer Fjallheim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tjørnehoved's Sigfried Eggersfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nis Saustrup in the 71st minute of play. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Badstrup FC fully deserved thier win.
