Mogens Darringe started the match with the kick off. Niclas Stensvang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4 minutes into the match, Jarl Lousdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walther Helsbro. Ottersbøl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarl Lousdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, Wagner Dahlquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ottersbøl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tjørnehoved the free kick. The supporters of Tjørnehoved booed when Ottersbøl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wagner Dahlquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Mogens Darringe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigfried Eggersfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigfried Eggersfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wagner Dahlquist in the 13th minute of play. If Mogens Darringe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarl Lousdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Walther Helsbro made a huge save. If Niclas Stensvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Ottersbøl's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Stensvang came free, but Walther Helsbro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wagner Dahlquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfried Eggersfelt having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, one of Tjørnehoved:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tjørnehoved.

The wind increased when Niclas Stensvang made the kick off in the second half. Walther Helsbro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Lousdal in the 53rd minute of play. Tjørnehoved's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mogens Darringe 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, Ottersbøl's Mogens Darringe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sigfried Eggersfelt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sigfried Eggersfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mogens Darringe, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 78th minute, Mogens Darringe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jarl Lousdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walther Helsbro having to interfere. The Ottersbøl supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ottersbøl would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
