An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Adolf Merløse got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute, Adolf Merløse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ejer FC's Ronald Højte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Lachkar in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jannich Holkved got free with Ronald Højte in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oswald Lachkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Højte having to interfere. If Adolf Merløse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
