Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valther Orte started the match with the kick off. Benjamin Tinø struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Claus Slunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reerstrup. With an all-out effort, Mejdal GIK's Didrik Castenby threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roald Lington, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute Roald Lington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didrik Castenby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claus Slunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Hennier, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th match minute, Mejdal GIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halvor Sonberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, one of Reerstrup:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reerstrup. Verner Markhøj's late challenge caught a Mejdal GIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Verner Markhøj helped the player get up and apologised. Reerstrup's Valther Orte got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Valther Orte came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Reerstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valther Orte couldn't finish the play. After 48 minutes of play Reerstrup's Verner Markhøj was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mejdal GIK booed when Reerstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Markhøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roald Lington was the one to do the kick off. Halvor Sonberg kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Reerstrup's Igor Hennier got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Reerstrup's Joseph Kitter got a free kick in the 78th minute. Nickolas Klokman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didrik Castenby having to interfere. If Roald Lington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Nickolas Klokman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mejdal GIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nickolas Klokman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didrik Castenby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Kristian Windfeldt in the 92nd minute really tested Claus Slunt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 96th minute Nickolas Klokman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didrik Castenby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
