Frederik Harsig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janick Hanuka having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, fc barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Elmertoft came free, but Willy Fred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willy Fred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Elmertoft in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, fc barcelona's Willy Fred got control of the ball when Marco Krongart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Krongart in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Willy Fred, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Povl Thorn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Willy Fred. fc barcelona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mario Elmertoft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Frederik Harsig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janick Hanuka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Elmertoft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Edmund Calreit fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc barcelona's protests and gave Edmund Calreit a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Grund AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klavs Lesemann to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmund Calreit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Krongart in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willy Fred saved fc barcelona from getting behind. Janick Hanuka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Calreit in the 52nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Mario Elmertoft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Willy Fred was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to fc barcelona getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gunvald Blond hit a great ball. The Grund AC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Grund AC's Mario Elmertoft looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmund Calreit had several of the Grund AC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Janick Hanuka as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Eyvin Trabant fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc barcelona's protests and gave Eyvin Trabant a yellow card for diving instead. Eyvin Trabant hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as fc barcelona's Edmund Calreit slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Janick Hanuka. That made the score 2-3 after 91 minutes of play. Marco Krongart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fc barcelona players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
