Solrød saints's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Hengeberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janick Hanuka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, Thorsten Aabentoft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Janick Hanuka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Solrød saints getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Thorvald Svanholmer hit a great ball. Solrød saints's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Mario Elmertoft scored to the left of an out of position Sigfred Plougheld, making the score, 1-1. Patrik Falktoft kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sigfred Plougheld didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grund AC's Mario Elmertoft shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 29 played minutes Grund AC got a freekick which was hit by Klavs Lesemann. Janick Hanuka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorsten Aabentoft in the 31st minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match, Mario Elmertoft tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sigfred Plougheld saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stephen Hengeberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Stephen Hengeberg came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Solrød saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stephen Hengeberg couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Elmertoft was the one to do the kick off. Stephen Hengeberg struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Janick Hanuka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solrød saints. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thorsten Aabentoft in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janick Hanuka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Mario Elmertoft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigfred Plougheld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes, Grund AC's Ulrich Haldne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sigfred Plougheld came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grund AC reached it. In the 77thth minute of the game Thorsten Aabentoft who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grund AC's Janick Hanuka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stephen Hengeberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Janick Hanuka made a huge save. Stephen Hengeberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute.
