In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Husby FC's goalkeeper Rufus Skalsted, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Aksel Grytter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. A very good chance. After the first half Lidemark SIK were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrad Eiensbohr made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Husby FC's zone, Aksel Grytter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Skalsted came out of the goal and Aksel Grytter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmi Aasbo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rufus Skalsted made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Esben Groszhennig sent off a good shot on target. Niklaes Stolk might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rufus Skalsted. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklaes Stolk ran back to his position shaking his head. Rufus Skalsted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aksel Grytter in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Lidemark SIK's goal looked a bit too open when René Ansteen came free, but Svenaage Thiilborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Esben Groszhennig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lidemark SIK and the Husby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Lidemark SIK's Aksel Grytter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rufus Skalsted. That made the score 1-6 after 83 minutes of play. Niklaes Stolk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rufus Skalsted tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aksel Grytter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svenaage Thiilborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Blegvad in the 92nd minute of the match. When Sonny Haldbæk came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lidemark SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sonny Haldbæk couldn't finish the play. Lidemark SIK played a much better game than Husby FC and deserved their victory. The Husby FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
