Attila Ferenczy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eyvin Lakolk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Rainer Oxelberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Lensdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attila Ferenczy got free with Eyvin Lakolk in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 minutes, Åge Flandrup mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nidløse AC and the Knebel AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Åge Flandrup kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Leonard Lensdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainer Oxelberg in the 36th minute of the match. Attila Ferenczy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyvin Lakolk having to interfere. Fritz Bannevang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Berthold Nebbegaard came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonard Lensdal could save by the left post. 54 minutes into the game, Nidløse AC's Åge Flandrup nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Lensdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Leonard Lensdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Hofer in the 60th minute of play. Åge Flandrup scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Lensdal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Hasse Bakic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eyvin Lakolk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hasse Bakic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasse Bakic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knebel AC's Attila Ferenczy got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Knebel AC had held the ball for most of the match.
