FC Frispark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hjortebjerg the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Frispark's Askild Juelsen got a free kick in the 28th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Mattias Rohede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Frispark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Rohede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Frispark's Freddie Haden got control of the ball when Ejner Castin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mattias Rohede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Frispark's Miklos Fjelholt got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mattias Dene kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Frispark's zone, Ejner Castin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Haden came out of the goal and Ejner Castin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
