In the 7th minute, Jacob Gotved got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob Gotved sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacob Gotved received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Taus Kjærvig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gjedsted SIK's Taus Kjærvig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Gotved in the 19th minute of play. Taus Kjærvig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Gotved, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasan Duchwaider's late challenge caught a Kyndeløse SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hasan Duchwaider helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gjedsted SIK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hasan Duchwaider hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kyndeløse SIK's Troels Jøros tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Taus Kjærvig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Taagely, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gjedsted SIK's goalkeeper Taus Kjærvig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacob Gotved sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hasan Duchwaider was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Kyndeløse SIK's Olof Sunds got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute Jacob Gotved shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taus Kjærvig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Taagely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taus Kjærvig having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Gotved made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Gjedsted SIK's zone, Olof Sunds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taus Kjærvig came out of the goal and Olof Sunds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Kyndeløse SIK's Taus Kjærvig threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacob Gotved, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Taagely got free with Taus Kjærvig in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricard Lidbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Præstbro having to interfere. Jannich Vormstrup kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Gjedsted SIK booed when Kyndeløse SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Sunds didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Gotved had several of the Gjedsted SIK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Taus Kjærvig as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 80th minute, Kent Askeby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taus Kjærvig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Gotved's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Gotved in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taus Kjærvig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the game, Sune Kenvad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gjedsted SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kyndeløse SIK the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Gjedsted SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Kenvad to maneuver through the defense. When Kyndeløse SIK's Jacob Gotved in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gjedsted SIK's goalie prevented a goal. Taus Kjærvig didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Kyndeløse SIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
