If Freddi Hildingborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimi Hæstorp struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Nik Seiring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fjelstrup SIK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddi Hildingborg in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Raltoft saved Fjelstrup SIK from getting behind. The supporters of Skibsted booed when Fjelstrup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Polde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asker Melson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Raltoft read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Kirck in the 26th minute of play forced Skibsted's goalkeeper Nik Seiring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Ferrini kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Leo Kirck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nik Seiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddi Hildingborg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Raltoft read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Asker Karmsteen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nik Seiring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Teddy Vangborg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skibsted's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fjelstrup SIK the free kick. The supporters of Fjelstrup SIK booed when Skibsted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Vangborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Fjelstrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Asker Melson came free, but Richard Raltoft reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asker Karmsteen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute. After a rather tough play, Skibsted's Svenning Blomsterberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Kirck to make the kick off. Richard Raltoft made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asker Melson in the 52nd minute. Asker Melson came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Raltoft could save by the left post. Freddi Hildingborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Raltoft having to interfere. When Asker Melson came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Skibsted fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asker Melson couldn't finish the play. Freddi Hildingborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Freddi Hildingborg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Raltoft was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After 77 played minutes Freddi Hildingborg rounded Fjelstrup SIK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Nik Seiring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Kirck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nik Seiring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Kirck in the 95th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
