Arthur Sarotti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Sønderskov having to interfere. Robin Sønderskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Sarotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Bjarne Barritze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hulsig FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Bjarne Barritze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Kindsbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bjarne Barritze came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Hulsig FV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjarne Barritze couldn't finish the play. If Hugo Hanshøj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bjarne Barritze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Hanshøj did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Simon Kindsbo 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hulsig FV's Sune Delarose got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gerhardt Vilykke's late challenge caught a Hulsig FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerhardt Vilykke helped the player get up and apologised. Simon Kindsbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjarne Barritze in the 36th minute of the match. Simon Kindsbo was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Bjarne Barritze capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bjarne Barritze really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Bjarne Barritze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute of the match Amadeus Cervin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Kindsbo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Amadeus Cervin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gerhardt Vilykke came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Aars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerhardt Vilykke couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wagner Ferrold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simon Kindsbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjarne Barritze in the 57th minute of play. If Bjarne Barritze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aars players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hulsig FV.
