After having played for 15 minutes, Zacharias Semss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacharias Semss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henning Rompens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonny Halger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Harry Thesander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lystrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Thesander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pablo Bangsbro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Melkior Mossov was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Harry Thesander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melkior Mossov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Lystrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olav Søndermand to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Bangsbro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 39th playminute. If Helmer Dhaliwal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Thesander to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Pablo Bangsbro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lystrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Bangsbro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tonny Halger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Henning Rompens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Harry Thesander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Thesander in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melkior Mossov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pablo Bangsbro came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lystrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Bangsbro couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vor's goalkeeper Melkior Mossov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olav Søndermand charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olav Søndermand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olav Søndermand hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Vor's Jimi Graves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jimi Graves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jimi Graves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Lystrup a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olav Søndermand, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vor's Melkior Mossov. 2-2. Melkior Mossov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Bangsbro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacharias Semss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Rompens having to interfere. Pablo Bangsbro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Vor's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Thesander came free, but Melkior Mossov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
