In the 15th minute, Preben Siemandel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thorstein Castaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Lindholmsartikler got a freekick which was hit by Arne Jølnov. 23 minutes into the match, Lindholmsartikler's goalkeeper Marvin Djørsing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Kallenbach. In the 28th minute, Kent Lindhe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arne Jølnov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgil Meftah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Lindhe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Kirknel made a kick off. If Muhammad Eilbæk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kent Lindhe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Kent Lindhe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindholmsartikler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Lindhe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thorstein Castaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Virgil Meftah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marvin Djørsing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Kirknel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sandvad's zone, Thorstein Castaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgil Meftah came out of the goal and Thorstein Castaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Lindholmsartikler's goal looked a bit too open when Thorleif Dørning came free, but Marvin Djørsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Patrick Kallenbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marvin Djørsing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Lindholmsartikler's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Kallenbach came free, but Marvin Djørsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgil Meftah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Jølnov, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sandvad succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Lindholmsartikler had controlled the match.
